We have some great news! Today we rolled out PSA CardSluggerTM Version 1.1. This new version has several significant changes. First, and most importantly, we have changed the way the game communicates with our game servers; this should eliminate any gameplay issues players may be experiencing.
Second, we made changes to the way games are played in three of the four game categories. The changes are as follows:
The Vintage (All Cards) and Modern (All Cards) games still have three innings. But the Vintage HOFers and Stars and Modern HOFers and Stars now have only one inning.
In the both the Modern categories the time clock starts at 20 seconds and after every 100,000 points on the scoreboard, the clock reduces by one second. In the Vintage HOFers and Stars game, the reduction occurs with every 250,000 points. There is no time reduction in the Vintage (All Cards) category.
The changes will add a level of difficulty which should make your games more fun and challenging.
The web version of the game has been updated to Version 1.1, however, you may need to empty your cache to play the new version. If you are playing the game on any mobile device, you will need to go to the apps store and update to V1.1. You will have one to two weeks to make this update before Version 1 becomes unplayable.
If you were playing a Vintage or Modern HOFers and Stars game when the update was made on the web to V1.1, and you were in the second or third inning, you will be able to continue the game until your first out occurs.
