Large Size Reference books - Is Freidberg the best?

Thanks for the Amazon link to buy the new Oakes/Schwartz.
I was also thinking of getting a good reference on Large size, is the Freidberg 17th edition the best overall for detailing varieties and values like Oakes is?

  • I certainly think so.
  • It's definitely the best book for large sized notes, however I think some of the values are off for certain notes.
  • If you plan on collecting large Friedberg 17 is a must! Friedberg does try to cover Large, Small, Fracts, Colonial, and CSA . The book doesn't go into the detail on the small like the Oaks & Schwartz. I also wouldn't use it as the "Bible" for pricing on the large size.
